a . Clothing To Be Worn (Sturdy & Durable)

__Suitable headgear
__ Shirt ( preferably medium weight wool)
__Pants (preferably wool and not tight fitting)
__Belt
__Jacket - wool
__Underwear (cotton)
__Socks (preferably wool)
__Boots (with top above ankle-bone, leather,
     sturdy soles and new laces)
__Handkerchief s (or bandanna s)

b. Items Carried On Your Person

__Sheath knife not big (used also for meals)
__Water-proof match container (always filled with
     large, strike-anywhere matche s)
__Cup (with belt hook)
__Pocket first-aid kit (minor cuts, burns)
__Survival kit (see attached list "A-l")
