1. Suggested Items Of Food (cont.)

LUNCH (no cooking or dishwashing)

Bread or crackers  With jam, peanut butter, apple butter, etc. Consider sliced or un-sliced whole wheat, rye or
pumpernickel bread, as well as white.
Cheese Dried beef, or canned meat such as Spam,
Prem, etc.
Beverage Dehydrated fruit mixers, lemon, lime, orange,
etc. (pre-sweetened)
Gingersnaps Or fig bars or other durable packaged
cookies.
Candy Semi-sweet chocolate bars, chocolate chips, lemon drops, or similar hard candles .
 

DINNER

 

Soup Dehydrated; or bouillon cubes.
Meat Canadian bacon, canned items such as beefsteak and
onions, Irish stew, corned beef chicken, ham, and fish, if you
catch them.
Dehydrated potatoes or starchy equivalent. Such as
macaroni, spaghetti, rice.
Vegetables dehydrated or canned (if you are willing to
carry the weight).
