Each group carries in addition a somewhat more extensive kit. This might contain, for example:

Ace bandage
Bandage, gauze, 1" and 2" wide
Adhesive tape, waterproof, 1" and
1-1/2" wide
Bandaids
Cotton
Skin clamps and forceps or needle
and dental floss
Sterile compresses, 3" square
Tweezers
Scissors
Scalpel or razor blade
Terramycin, powder
Burn ointment
Aspirin
Laxative
Nupercainel ointment
Telfa pads
Icthamol ointment
Diar-aide tablets
Severe pain medication

Although every one must know something about first aid and a few in each group probably will be experts, it's a good idea to have along at least one copy of a pocket first aid manual.
