Greetings from Kingston, Ontario. Your site is very user-friendly. But I am writing to ask if you could direct me to where I can learn more about the history and settlement of Hunter's Point (aka Wolf Lake). My family is celebrating our 20th year of summering on Lake Kipawa and it turns out my father is a descendant of the Hunters (I think John Hunter was his great-great uncle). Anyhow, I am also very interested about the old mission that still stands. A lovely specimen. I visited it a couple of weeks ago, but could find no means to date it properly beyond just guess work. Anyhow, my family is over at Miwapanee Lodge and I would like to learn more. Appreciate any help you could give me.
