Pollution is never a joking matter. When I was a small lad my father took me fishing all over western NY State and on Lake Erie. In the early forties we could drink the water anywhere we fished. Today, I would venture to say, there is no place in NY State where it would be safe to drink the water while fishing.Also the passing of urine into Lake Kipawa presents no problem since there is nothing "poison" in urine, in fact it can be recycled into drinking water. However feces contain coli and other bacteria which can be deadly.
