I know of only one fisherman named Al Linder. If you are the individual I am thinking of, then you will be telling all of us where the fish are. There are many good people that respond to this discussion board, so I am sure you will be provided the information you are seeking.
My son and I are going to Lake Kipawa the week of May 25. First time up in 35 years. If our dates of travel overlap, my son and I would truly enjoy meeting you. You have provided us with many hours of enjoyment.
Some info I have gained.
- Walleye: At dawn and dusk troll shallows (sand beaches and points). Early morning, jig with salted minnows 15 to 18 feet of water. Seems to be the depth at that time of year. Water temp? Deeper water structures 9:00 am till 6:00 pm. Hit the "Narrows".
Lake Trout: You know all about these babies. Watch surface of lake (Take your binocs).
Northerns: Watch the areas around the mouths of rivers, streams, and tribs. entering the Lake. Use dead bait rigs. May be to early for the bigger boys in the back shallows.
Hope to see your adventure next year. Good luck.
Mark
