Obviously you are pulling water from the lake but is the foot valve on your hose very close to the bottom pulling up the sediment?? Also were you located in a stagnant bay somewhere. Just trying to narrow in on some thing. What was the bacterial count on your sample? First I think we want to get hydo Quebec to let water spill over top of the dam at kipawa as well as under the dam, the way it used to be. The skimming from the top would not permit the build up contaminants on the surface. This would significantly reduce any build up on the surface.
