Ed: Excuse the belated reply. Chad Tilley's reply may have satisfied your curiosity about the Garden River; however I would add that when we did this entry onto Brennan there were 7 advisors and 14 Boy Scouts. It was in July '64 or '65 and the river was so devoid of water that we carried boats, motors, personal gear, ice and food over about 75% of the river and found only about 25% or less that would float the boats. aneedless to say this was a tedious haul. Arrived on Brennan at midnight. As tired as we and the Scouts were we watched for 45 minutes the most fantastic northern lights display any of us had ever seen not just very bright streaks but various colors it was a sight to behold. I wouldn't want to repeat this haul on the Garden though unless there was a lot more water in the river than when we did it. Thanks for your feedback on the picture I appreciated that info.
