No I don't think that this is a record. I'm sure years ago when temperatures used to get down to -45°C it froze earlier. I can't remember in the last 15 years when the temp dipped below -35 or -40°C. Small opening in the middle today as the warmer temp's are upon us combined with the freezing rain we got yesterday and today. ...Paul
