Your report is pretty accurate. My swim, however, was more like a quick soaping and dunking. It was a little more difficult this year taking the bath because of the ever present fear that ice would form over you when you dunked under. Ian is right when he states it was beautiful. (Good friends, good beer, and burnt steaks again.) You also left out the part of breaking down just south of North Bay. If anyone reads this that know the Buchers, tell them I wish them all a happy holiday season, and tell Barb I hope she is mending after the surgery.
