59 days and counting until I get to see the beauty of Lake Kipawa again. However, I got lots to plan for as the chief cook what with 8 guys making the trip this year.

Some of our guys leave Friday for a 5 day brook trout trip into Quebec. I went for over 20 years when we could still catch natural "Quebec reds" but I just can't bring myself to go now just to catch stockers placed in the lakes a week before we arrive - even though some of the stockers weigh 4 lbs.

Good weather and good fishing to all those who go up to Kipawa before us.
