Lake trout with a difference

I came across this recipe for lake trout that I'm going to try this year while at Kipawa. The originator called this recipe "SeViche" 1-pound Lake trout Salt 3 Fresh Lemons 1 fresh lime 1/2 medium red onion Halopina pepper and/or tomato Horseradish sauce

Preparation

Slice trout into thin pieces rather than chunks. Slice red onion into very small chunks. Mix lemon/lime juice and onion with lake trout in a bowl. Add salt to taste. (The acid from the lemon and lime actually cook the trout). Serve immediately or refrigerate overnight. Serve on a cracker. Top off with horseradish sauce and lemon.
