Here is a favorite recipe of mine for lake trout.Also works well with splake and salmon. 1)Place boneless trout fillet(skin on) skin side down on un-greased aluminum foil. 2)Coat meat side of fillet with mayonnaise. 3)Sprinkle with garlic salt and lemon pepper. 4)Place on hot barbecue with lid down. 5)Cook for 15 minutes or until fish starts to brown around the edges. 6)Remove from foil with wide spatula. Skin will stick to foil. 7)Fish has cooked in it's own fat, and tastes like it has been cooked in tartar sauce. ENJOY.........
